Salariian Kampuchea students visited the The Youth Employment Service (YES) Center

Salariin Kampuchea Life Skills Students

This month Salariian Kampuchea students visited the The Youth Employment Service (YES) Center.  Providing a range of employment support services the YES Center’s mission is to offer a range of appropriate support services to help young adults enhance their employability and increase their economic opportunities.

The center aims to provide ‘a youth friendly facility’ for youths to drop in and seek new employment opportunities and get help in designing cvs and interview processes.  There is also hope for unemployed youth to gain valuable training to increase their prospects of securing employment.

Here’s a short report written by Naro the Educational Manager at Salariin Kampuchea

Visited Workplace: Youth Employment Services Center

Short Report:

On the 18th of May 2013 at 3pm our Life Skills students went to visit Youth Employment Service Center. It was great and wonderful that our students had a chance to learn and gain more knowledge with the Job Interview Training that was given to them by the Yes Center (Youth Employment Services Center) on this day.

All the students are feeling good with their learning and their new knowledge about the future free job markets. They now know where they can access the free job market and how they can communicate to receive the job. These are some of the things they learnt at the workshop.

However, our Life Skills students can gain their knowledge and work very smoothly because we are receiving a huge support from HOPE organization. We would like to deeply express appreciation “Thank HOPE very much for your main support to Salariin Kampuchea youths”.

Additional, Mr. Chheng, who is a project coordinator, trained our students how to prepare themselves before going to interview. He taught the paths to success with interview, the achievement and accomplishment for the jobs.

Finally, all the students were very glad to improve their career social knowledge through Youths Employment Services Center and organize themselves in advance for interviewing.
