First Step Cambodia – The Class of 2014

Class of 2014

HOPE are delighted to share news from First Step Cambodia and are proud supporters of this great project and much needed training! Read on to hear their thanks…

After 10 months, and 352 hours of teaching, presentations, group work and role plays – the FSC Social Work Training ‘Class of 2014’ graduated today.

First Step Cambodia is proud of their commitment and the support of their NGOs, Directors, supervisors and managers throughout the last ten months. FSC would also like to acknowledge again the support of our partners Hope for Cambodia, FELM and CLSA, whose support enabled us to facilitate the training.

We will continue providing follow up support, and more training for the participants and their managers throughout 2014.

Thanks again to all the trainers – Sokhem, Sambath, Sreytha, Kunthea, Kroesna, Sopheap, Sokha, Socheat, Chanthao for your commitment and hard work of the last year. Also to Siden, Rotana and Sopharin for the additional help behind the scenes that you have also provided. Without all of you this would not have been possible.

This may be the end of the training for now but today also marks the beginning of a new chapter in our relationship – and we look forward to working with you all to protect and support children and young people affected by sexual abuse in the years ahead.

The photograph below features the graduates with their Managers after today’s presentation ceremony.
