Ravy is cycling 30km!

The Angkor Wat Bike4Kids (previously the Angkor Wat Bike Race & Ride) is an annual event held in the grounds of the spectacular Angkor Wat.

Each year a group of 20 to 30 children from Salariin Kampuchea participates, and each year our director bravely volunteers to bring up the rear on his moped. This year, however, Mr Ravy’s streak of “bravery” will come to an end. He is dusting off his long neglected bicycle, and attempting to conquer the course under his own steam.

Ravy will be cycling to raise funds for SK’s education, health and young-people programs. If you would like to sponsor him please pledge an amount by replying to this email. In return we will send you photos of our happy children, followed by an exhausted Ravy crossing the finish line.

Assuming that Ravy doesn’t get lost in the Temple of a Thousand Faces, after the race & ride is over you will be directed to our donation page to complete your pledge.

We would also like to say a big thank you to HOPE for providing our student’s registration fees for the event. It is a marvelous day out, and one that staff and students alike look forward to every year.

The race & ride takes place on Saturday 6th December, so get your pledges in soon and give Ravy the motivation he needs to make it across the finish line!

Warm regards,

Salariin Kampuchea
